I need to repack my warlock muffler was uses fiberglass packing. I though I placed it far enough down the exhaust system to where it would last but I guess not.

So, I was thinking of cutting it open and repacking it with Stainless Steel wool. The only question I have is what grade of SS wool should I use? Such as double 0, 1, 2,3, course or fine. etc, etc..

it makes sense that you could use a grade of ss wool that looks about the same as the fiberglass

it seems that the finest you can get would work
