Need Radio Wiring Help
Yes, i searched, exhaustively....
At first one of the problems i was having was the power antenna, i got that to work with said relay, that was cake.
The other problem i'm having is trying to get constant power... After wiring up my aftermarket radio now none of my interior lights work, unless the radio is on, also the radio and clock reset everytime the car is turned off, which means i have no presets and can't keep the time straight in my car..
Any ideas? i followed the wiring schematic in the FAQ's and frankly it was BS, the way it said to wire it nothing worked, currently i have the red/black not hooked up to anything (everything i touch it to shows no results) blue/white, blue/yellow, and the 12v and accessory wires from the deck are all four clustered together, this is the only way i can get power at all to my radio...
anyone else have this problem? help please

The Blue/Red is giving power, but no constant power... The ground is on frame under the ash tray spot with the paint scraped off using the ground wire from the aftermarket deck.

EDIT: Room fuse,7.5 amps, located in the interior fuse box controls power to most of the interior lights and supplies constant voltage to the L/R wire. Check the fuse and see if it is blown. Might sound silly but sometimes silliness needs to be addressed. Did you mix up the L/R constant power wire with the L/W accesory wire by accident? If you want to test the goings on related to the L/R wire you can remove the Room fuse and w/the multimeter set to DC volts place a meter terminal on each side of the fuse slot and measure for battery voltage w/no key in the ignition.
