need a place to install my avc-r

hey everyone i have a slight problem.. i like keeping the inside of my car looking umm non ricer bling bling/ "anti break into me". my center console has my wideband display under my radio, and my SAFC2 in the ashtray.... i needed some low profile way to put it in the car.. i dont want to put my computer in the vent... the heater would heat it(duuuh but a overheated boost controlling computer cuz do some evil) anyone got any ideas.. its has to be readily adjustable so the glovebox will not sufice. im out of space.. doh! you cant see them from the outside of the car... when im driving as it is id like to keep it that way. I dont want it to be so obvious that when you walk by the car you see the unit on the dash either (hence the "break in me" cause and effect)..

can you guys post some pics of your setups? all the old ones in the archives and stuff are .. !!BING!! .. old and not showing anymore

I'm not sure exactly how big is is... but you could put it in place of the security light/whatever else sits by it in a S4. Maybe in the armrest? Again, I'm just trying to help but I'm not sure how big it is...

BTW - OKC as in Oklahoma City?

just a thought....either right above the steering wheel. (might be too ricy)

Maybe inside the center console? Thats pretty hidden, and readily accessable, but i dont know how much wire you have to run it into there.

Another idea would be off to the side under the steering wheel. It would be right above your knee i guess, out of sight and easy to access.

I have nothing in either spots, so i cant give feedback on them. Good luck and props for trying to keep it on the non-bling side.

That will work out okay. I think you really might be outta room in that car for too much more.

No I'm N/A in Stillwater. I do know at least one guy in OKC who has a TII though. Except that he is putting a 13B-RE in it. There is at least four TII's running around small little Stillwater so I'm sure you aren't the only one in OKC.
