need pics, wide wheels...

im looking to see if anyone has some pics of an FC with wide wheels and no wide body kit on. i just measured my wheels (no rims on) and they are 2.5 inches past the rear fender. havnt checked the front but i imagine they are pretty close to the same. a big reason they are so far out is i needed adapters for them to fit my car (chevy to mazda adapter is 1.3 inches wide). the wheels are so sick to me i dont want to give up on them just yet. i dont mind adding wide body fenders to the front, but molding in the rear is a little much...

so anyone have pics of wide wheels on an FC, how bad does it look? Cali lowrider-ish???

oh, and they are only 15's. i was planning to put skinnie tires for the stretched tire look. but i dont think it will help the 2.5 inch to wide problem.

Why don't you have the rotors redrilled?

The only way your gonna fit those is stretch tire, negative camber and fender pull. Be warned that some of the guys here will give you hell for it

I have 17x10s in the back... but the fit under the fender.

I would probably just sell the wheels and get some with the right offset. or you might be able to get a wheel shop to redrill the wheels and/or put them on a lathe if you're really that attached to them.
