When the pressure plate is torqued down, it doesn't affect the pressure plate "fingers".

is that an aftermarket or stock clutch? When i install mine. The fingers get pulled in slightly. Yet the clutch for is tight up to the clutch without the slave on. It can be pulled forward just a slight bit though

Just a hypothesis, but having a new clutch could be pushing farther on the pressure plate face due to more friction material present (because it's new). Just a thought.
