Is that a Racing beat aluminum Rotor Housing? It looks like one...
Anyway... You can use whatever rotor housings you got available, as long as they match the side housing. The exaust plates? Just remove them and port those fu#$ers.

Mazdatrix will also sell a front and a rear rotor. Guess what? I am using two rear rotors for a year now on an 87 6-port exhaust ported turbo converted engine. Believe me it takes runs over 100 mph everyday on my way to work. By the way my tranny is automatic...

I know that you can use 2 mismatched housings. But unfortunately that isnt LEGAL in Arizona. Since my intention was to make the car STOCK (GASP!!! Whats wrong with him??? He wants a stock RX-7?!?!?!). I need to have the correct housings in the correct locations. Once I have a perfecly running perfectly stock car, I will have a baseline for any modifications I make in the future.

That last picture. Thats the one I needed. See, you have the hole in the top(TOP RED ARROW) that goes to the exaust port and then you have the second hole(bottom arrow) that goes to the half inch hole to the manifold. What you see in that picture is, is a FRONT rotor housing, front view. It has two holes on the front side, but if you looked at the rear side, you would only find ONE hole, the one going to the half inch hole. Now the REAR rotor housing, on its rear side, has THE TWO HOLES just like the ones in this picture. So if you put the front rotor housing where the rear rotor housing goes, there is no passage for the air to go to the exaust port. And even worse the small hole is useless also because the intake gasket covers that hole up and there is no passage at that point in the exaust manifold. ONE DARN GOOD PICTURE OF THE FRONT SIDE OF THE FRONT ROTOR HOUSING. I'M INDEBTED TO YOU MAZDASPEED7!
