Dont bother getting gauges you dont need... like fuel pressure, unless you are running high high horsepower, and i find that air/fuel is useless! looks kinda neat.. but thats about it... If you want to buy mine i'll sell it to you cheap! haha.. 35 bucks!

As for gauges that are probably more important than air fuel and fuel pressure.. I would get Boost most importantly, Water temperature, and oil pressure! those are the fundamentals of the engine.. I have those 3 plus air/fuel and voltmeter.. Voltmeter helps diagnose big electrical problems quickly!

Hope this helps!

What dc350 said plus possibly oil temp. I also think that an a/f meter is useful to detect an anomaly. They aren't that great for tuning (narrow band at least) but you can tell if something is wrong by looking at it.

If the car is close to stock, then skip the fuel pressure gauge and go for oil temp. Keep in mind that a narrowband A/F gauge isn't really for fine tuning but it is certainly useful if you know how to read it. Boost gauge is a must. If you intend to modify and tune the car (with a standalone or piggyback) then you will be wanting a wideband. You can do the same work with an EGT and narrowband but for the inexperienced a wideband is a lot easier.
