Need a new rad, suggestions? comments?
Radiator question:
While taking out my engine (87 T2) I saw that my rad was in quite bad condition and I would like to get a new / better one.
I have access to a S5 rad, but was wondering how much a nice aluminum rad would cost? Where to get one for a cheap price? or would I be better off just using the S5 rad?
Thanks alot
Steve

Many choices. You can go generic and get one from Summit Racing (such as the Griffin). You'll have to fab up the mounts and pipes, but it will be 1/2 the cost of something specific to the RX-7.
The Koyo is decent, and cheaper then the Fluidyne. I have the Fluidyne, but it came to about $1100 by the time it reached my door. Stock generally works fine as well, and is VERY cheap.

$1100?! what happend?
i picked up one from summitt. it's nice, big, and blingity. it'll BARELY fit though... there's a metal AC line that runs on the passenger side. that gets in the way. you could move it over a little though and you'll be fine. also, it's a tight fit if you keep the bat. in the same location.
i wish i could post pics, but my security settings are jacked up for some reason and i can't post pics of what i'm talking about.
