Well, the oil cooler lines and oil level sensor are really easy to fix. Can you tighten bolts? Ok, then you can do it yourself. Drive belts are like 30 seconds a peice to replace, and what is wrong w/ the steering?? I thought I couldn't fix anything, and I just finished a engine pull, replacement in my driveway with hand tools. We can help walk ya through the processes, and you will get the satisfaction of having fixed your rex yourself!!

It's funny... you can do an engine pull and replacment.. but you can't do a hood pin pull.... AND REPLACEMENT!

The stearing is really F***ed up. When i pull outa my drive way or just move the car when its stationary the power stearing makes a lot of noise in either foward or reverse, while turing. It sounds kinda like a grinding noise its ugly. I think i need to replace the power stearing pump or somthin.
As far as me doing those fixes i mean honestly id love to do em but i need some kinda guide like a shop manual or somthin then id do it with confidence right now all i got is a Haynes manual which arent taht great

If you have the connection for it, go to www.fc3s.org and download the factory service manual. It's the RX-7 Bible.

the noise might be the strut top bearings. mine made bad noises. you should be able to get some grease in there.

also check your P/S fluid level
