Need a little bit of help. (Idiot here)

So I was taking apart my UIM, LIM, and the entire turbo side of my 1988 RHD turbo 2 to fix a leak and remove the omp. I have everything back together again and the car will start but not stay idling. It runs fine with the throttle depressed, all the way to operating temp, but once it is let go it stalls out. I was wondering if it could be this (see pic)? The vaccum line running to it is not attached and I cannot remember for the life of me where it goes. Any help would be appreciated.

I may be having a brain fart but from the picture angles, I have no idea what that is. At first I thought "double throttle actuator" but it's not in the correct spot.

Better pictures perhaps? Pulled back a little? Show the other side of that piece?

Anyway, it does sound regardless like you have a large vacuum leak. Something was not put back on and if you have a hanging vacuum nipple which went to that part, then that is the first place to check.

Personally I would have recommended leaving the metering oil system in tact unless this is a track car, but that's another topic for another time.

I thought the same thing initially Aaron. Once I realized it wasn't I couldnt figure out what that thing is either, thus didn't post. Considering the lack of posts versus the time this thread has been open, I don't think anyone knows lol.

And I agree, leave the oil metering system alone.

Thanks for the help guys that piece was blocked off by the previous owner(s) and I was just curious as to what it was. I found the reason why it wasn't idling at all. And. I do have a vacuum leak somewhere that I have to track down tomorrow but she stars and drives find (except for leak obviously.) And I removed OMP because the lines were cracked and leaking and figured I could keep track of it decently well. Thanks again I appreciate it.
