need legal help
since I was out of a job for a while my insurance lapsed on me and I was pulled over for a tail light being out
being that I didn't have the money to pay for the ticket my license was susp.
I know I shouldn't drive my car without insurance and I agree it is my fault for not taking care of things
well I was pulled over again today. I have a problem with the tranny and was running low on fluid so sometimes when I hit the gas my car just sits there for a second then at times when the tranny kicks in I chirp the tires.right when I noticed the tires spinning I let off the gas b/c I knew the cop was right behind me. and it sux b/c I was trying to hurry up b/c my sister went to the emergency room today and we all thought she was going in for surg.
well he just wrote me up for DWP
I am curious though (I know I should just plead guilty but I do not really have the money to pay the fines right now) if there is anything I can do to fight it in court
I know I am guilty and prolly will plead as such. but if I can find some way out I would like to so I can use the money for my own bills as well as helping my sister out in paying for her surg.
on the ticket he did not write the date, nor did he get my make or mod of car, though he did get the plate number
I am also going in tomorrow and get everything taken car of since I get my paycheck then and should have the money to do so
is there anything I can do for this at all????
at least I didn't get a ticket for chirping the tires

Probally not man. W/O a license is a pretty cut and dry offense, very little room to squirm from that charge. I say, bite the bullet, and get ready for some hard times. Sorry to hear it man. Guess I better go get insurance too!!

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
I duno man, once you get proof that your license and insurance is straight, then explain this to the court. Ive been through this 3 times here in TN, mine got suspended for petty **** like not paying a speeding ticket on time, or even paying a window tint ticket and having that court NOT report it paid to the state, who in turn suspended my license, while I manage to get pulled over that very night. Anyway once you go to court they ask what youve done to remedy the situation. IF you demonstrate youve done what it takes to get everything back to normal, then they let you go with no further hassle. Your state may be different. Here the judges say that its more important for you to have your license for the future rather than pay twice for the past(cause TN state license fees are damn outrageous, sometimes into the thousands).

Well Bro, I probably can't help you with your legal advice, but I can give you advice on what your car may need to take care of the tranny problems. If adding more ATF doesn't help it (assuming it's an auto by what you wrote), then you could need to replace the transmission fluid filter (it's in a pan underneath the car). Believe it or not, it helps a lot! Ask me how I know! Take care, and I hope you get stuff resolved!
