need to know value for potential selling this week.....

k so here my situation guys:

i have been doing my swap for about 2 weeks now and for some reason cant figure out why im not getting spark(electrical is my worst area) and i havent had very much help diagnosing this problem so anyways i need it to run this week or sell it to get something that runs......so im thinking worst case scenerio whats my car worth? here all the info needed for people to give me some prices they think its worth. thanks for the help.

S5 91' N/A
blue interior perfect condition looks brand new
exterior the paint is nice condition BRAVE BLUE with 2 fair sized dents in the front fenders (these dents will pop out EASILY)

complete S5 T2 swap (30-50k mile engine from japan) still using N/A rear end and N/A auto dirveline but will include the t2 rearend.

factory alloy 5 spoke wheels with brand new tires

the only bad things really are that the obvious it wont start due to spark problem.......although it sounds real nice while turning over

also has cracked windsheild on passenger side and a hole in the driver side tail the size of a golf ball.

now im not sure what else people need to know to judge its value so please feel free to ask for more details and leave your input on what i should look to get for this if i dont get it running by this weekend. thanks -mike

It's worth the same as a J-spec 13BT and an FC chassis with no engine.
$500 for the motor - $500 for the chassis

I think RETed was serious. Theres nothing special about it just a T2 engine and a rollingN/A chassis(an automatic at that)

well unfortunately since it wont start I dont think anyone will give you more than 1200 bucks or so since there is no way to tell if the jdm core is good. Lots of jdm cores need rebuilds(not saying your does) so people are weary of a car you cant get to start. If you get it running im sure you could get around 3k(since its an auto) or maybe a bit more. the only way your going to get someone to pay more than 1k for that car is if they are a stupid or b there arent any t2s in your area for sale and someone is dead set on one.

its not an automatic nor did i ever say that. i said im using an Na driveshaft to mate the t2 tranny to the na rear end. as for it not running i can show it has good comp and that it cranks over. please take this new info into consideration. -mike

Then why does it say right here that you're using the n/a AUTO driveline and n/a rear end?

If you find someone who doesn't know what they're doing, they'd probably pay more ($1.5-$2k), but anybody who knows rx7's probably won't pay much over $1k (if that), for a non-running turbo conversion that still needs parts to complete.

I'll give you $500 for it and come pick it up.

No dead (read not running) FC is worth more than $500-$1000... the fact that you are in the middle of a conversion drops the value even more

another thing is not to many people will want to buy your wiring headache due to the swap and that I would guarantee is the reason for it not starting. Best bet is to get it running and then sell it. Or like the others said get out of it for what the motor ran you and call it a day. FC na engineless chassis don't sell. Jspecs come with a startup warantee for 800, 1000 with tranny and 50 bucks for the NA auto drive shaft to mate it up to the NA end. Now if it starts you can get 3k for it all day. Its kinda a warped FC market.

Who flamed you?
You're either really stupid or you're beyond ignorant.

If you think you can get more money, good luck finding the sucker.
