Need JDM s5 cluster/dash wiring diagrams/pinouts in English
Need JDM s5 cluster/dash wiring diagrams/pinouts in English
Getting close to getting my rotary swapped B series truck to finally running.
I used the s5 rhd dash and am running AEM Infinity ems with a custom harness built by Chris Ludwig.
I am having problems finding anything in english for the wiring diagrams.
Anybody have any leads or be willing to help?

the US cluster has mileage switches, and the JDM cluster has a speed limiter and maybe something else, other than that the pinouts are the same.

yes, its a huge PITA because the painless is wired completely backwards. every car uses switched grounds, so the power goes to the fuse, then the thing then the switch and then ground. the painless is the other way, so its really really confusing to blend the two systems.
so having done a painless system, my advise is to throw it in the trash.

Any other advice or helpful hints?
It"s dead simple to derive the cluster pinout by simply following the traces on the hard motherboard located on the rear of the housing. An hour or so with a multimeter should do it.
