my rx7 will not idle it has to stay above 2500 rpms to stay running i changed the plugs, fuel pump and the iac valve i dint kno if i just have bad gass or what but i dont kno what else to do to get it to idle right so can some one please help me

 

Does it have a terrible idle if you let it go below 2500 and slowly stalls out? If so then it could be your intake manifold gasket.

 

no it just dies

EGR valve (if it is an S4)
Clogged primary injectors
Plugs, ignition harness, timing

1. check for vacuum leaks (google for various techniques)
2. check for trouble codes
3. EGR operational check
4. ?

 

i found the problem it was the fuel pressure regulator something i over looked

 

Well done. What was the fault with the regulator, and what was the fuel pressure that you saw before fixing the regulator?
