im trying to change the passenger side vent window in my 88 convt. Rx7 . i have the outer door off do i need to take the whole inner door off. the piece where the side speaker is mounted on. please help if u can. thank u

 

The inside door panel would need to be removed to get to the screws/nuts that hold the bottom of the window, if that is what you are asking.

Not quite sure what you mean about the outer door off.... it is not some lame Saturn that the outer door panel can be removed.

 

just wind the window down like half way, then take off the only door panel and use a phillips screwdriver to remove the two bolts for the window and pull it out... the motor & assembly is only held on by two bolts, I think they are both 10mm, remove those and BAM! ANOTHER NOTCH, you removed the window and all components from the door.
