need help with tranny? pics inside

hey guys so the side of the shifter box broke. Can this be fixed, I was looking but the book dosnt say. I wanting to know if I can fix just the part. or dose the whole tranny have to be pulled?

That's the change control case. It's separate from the main transmission case, but I believe replacement requires dropping the transmission.

ya hahaha dont ask me how it happed it just did?

It dose look like the tranny has to be droped theres a pin inside the box I think I have to knock out to. In the pics you cant see the front part were it bolts in. It also broke.

you think since it has to be droped it would be easyer to just swap in a newer tranny. I cant find just that part. I did how ever found a couple of trannys

Looks like your going to need some one that can weld cast aluminum.
