My 86 GXL scratches on first when i don't hold trhe clutch for like 8 seconds, and on second when i shift normally, so i have to let the revs go down, im gonna drop it and i found a place that sells t2 trannies with less than 80k on them for 150, is the swap to complicated, what do i have to do? thanks.

 

the old scratch-scratch problem...you might have more luck searching...but since i'm already in here typing......try som redline synth oil in the tranny...it helped me with mine...and could very well extend the life of yours for a while...but if you can get a "good" used tranny for $150 and you have the $$ for it...i don't see why you shouldn't get it and still put some redline in it to prolong it's life...
