need help with tps setting..and idle .

well as the title says i need help...i was adjusting the tps according to fc3spro page setting it to 1k ohm.i did that ..with the engine off and key on the ON position and got 1.02 ohms as close as i can get...i put my intercooler back on and start it ..it starts but start to idle funny..before i adjusted it, it wasnt doing this itll idle a 1k and if i step on gas a little it'll idle a 13k ..if i push the clutch in and put it in gear release slowly itll drop back down to 1k...but after i adjusted tps it got worst ..idle at 15k and the idle bounces up and down from 2k to 15k...any ideas ??? pple im trying to figure this out b4 it gets dark =) thanks

welps i finally figured it out i think i need a new tps...
1 engine full warmed turn it off and leave key on "ON" position
2 removed intercooler
3 disconnect tps
4 connect my little meter device to green wire with the red needle and black wire to black needle
5 turn my meter device to ohms ... and adjust away..
i got it to 1.0 ohms and 1.2 ohms
but when i slowly go to WOT it goes half way ..and my meter say "LO" and jumps back to 3. somehting ohms and so on..
it passes 6.something ohms and stays around mid 6. something ohms

in this case i think i need a new tps...correct me if im wrong...

but jesus that thing is liek 200 something bucks at mazdatrix..you guys have any ideas where i can buy em for cheaper ..and its in good working condition !! thank you !@


ps would this b causing my hotstart problems.?and i forgot to say that i have a apexi neo safc hooked up ..i dont kno if that has to do with anything...

ebay.....got em for around 20-60bux....the neo shouldnt be a prob...i have one too...and i had the same prob...i spent a couple hours tinkering with it till i got it rite...u might want to chek ur idle screw and your throttle cable...you should loosen them up to give u sum slack while you tune ur tps to 1k....then adjust them back when you dial everything in and that the idle is correct....i dunno...it worked for me...but also u stated that it went over 6k...so i would just go along with a new tps...
