Which one? There are a few. Check out the FSM in the FAQ's.

 

Is it Boston MA? If so im only about 30 min away from there.

I doubt its your alternator. You wouldn't be able to turn the engine over much at all if the engine drained the battery down to almost nothing. I believe the ECU turns off at around 10v.

Sounds like it may be the ignition switch according to the wiring diagram or the main engine ground or chasis ground. If one of those are loose, you may be getting intermitant issues.

Probably a bad ecu ground, is the car home yet? It could be a bad afm connection.

The ignition switch COULD be bad, if the contacts inside were worn and could momentarily cut off power to the rest of the car, remember the igniition switch has multiuple positions, any one of them could go bad.

Also a thing to check for is a bad fuel pump or fuel pump relay. Or a bad main relay.

You could also have loose connections on the battery terminal, bad fuses. Make sure you check ll of the fuses as well.

Just incase you were windering, the ecu ground, is on top of the rear rotor housing, under theuim.

If you have not already, download a copy of the FSM, and check on how to remove the uim.

Also, if you go into the archive, you can find out how to add better ecu grounds, by modifying the wiring harness underneath the flor panel on the passenger side, which would fix the problem if it were a bad ecu ground.

 

Great suggestions, thanks. The car is on its way here, should be sometime next week. Can't wait to get hands on and get this fixed. I havn't taken the uim off of a TII, but i had taken the upper and lower off of my N/A i had when i was 17 so it shouldn't be a problem.
