need help some questions before installing 720cc secondary's

im about to replace my secondary injectors on my 89 tII with 720cc injectors i need some help before i start installing them first off i know i need resistors since i have high imp injectors now and replacing with low imp one's what resistors would be the best these one's from here http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/in...20resistor.htm but i also read that you can get some 20-watt, 10Ω resistors from radioshack and they a re much cheaper and don't have to pay for shipping is 20-watt, 10ohm the right size resistor i should ask for from radioshack if i go there

my second question is that i heard the connectors on the stock s5 is oval shaped and wont connect to the new injectors do i need to buy new connectors and wire them up to the stock s5 secondary wire harness if so are these the right connectors i need http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/injector%20clips.htm i need these questions answered so i can get started any help would be appreciated

Yes, a 10ohm/20W resistor is fine. You actually only need 10W ones.

It looks like hose clips are for the FD's side-feed injectors. You need ones for top-feed injectors. Anybody who sells injectors can probably get you matching clips.

alright so i wont have any problems even over a long time period if i get the 10ohm 20 watt resistors and i do need new clips right? also i would like to put the resistors right at the ecu but i dont want to do it if it's to complicated getting to or finding the wires is there any drawbacks of putting the resistors right by the injector connectors and should my engine be fine putting in these injectors in or will it cause it to run rich up top

In theory the 20W ones will last longer than 10W ones, but either will be fine. If you can get 10W ones I would, just because they're usually smaller.

My preference would be to put them at the ECU because it completely isolates when from heat and vibration. Accessing the ECU and it's wiring is easy, and finding the correct wires is also easy. The FSM Fuel Systems and Wiring Diagrams chapters clearly show the wires you want.

If you buy injectors with rectangular connectors you'll need to buy matching plugs to replace the stock oval ones.

If you install these injectors without some from of fuel control you will definitely run rich and lose power as a result. Your sig says you have an F-Con though so I'm not sure why you're asking. I don't see a fuel pump in that list. Do that first.

It's not as hard as it looks.

Check out my post here on some suggestions for the 720 install and its components.
As NZ said I would put the resistors at the ECU for sure, much more reliable and longer lasting that way.
