Need help on Short Ram Intake
I just took the air filter box out of the car and put my adapter on the Mass Airflow Sensor part and put the cone filter on.
I cranked the car and it runs for a second and shuts off. I tried disconnecting the battery but it still wont run.
Did I forget to do something? Do I need to re-set the ECU and if so, how?
I have a 88 Vert with a TII swap everything is stock except the exhaust...
Thanks!

double check that the intake is secured on there tight, and isnt leaking from AFM to turbo inlet.....
double check the air flow meter conection is snug and conected properly, make sure you didnt damage the conector?? wires are brittle after 15 or so yrs....... other hten that it should run....
based on what you did and that it starts for a second and shuts off, its either a large vac leak, or the AFM isnt pluged in properly( maybe a wire got damaged????)
that large open hose is to the air pump and shouldnt matter.

Yeah, the AFM is just laying there now...
I still can't get the sucker to run, it will crank up to 2000rpm and fall down to a stall. Wonder if the wires to the MAF is bad, they look decent...

Fixed it, I followed the big tube after the MAF sensor and found it hanging loose where it was suppose to sit on the engine block. It feels like it spools fast now...feels good, now I need to get that boost controller in there too
