need help replacing convertible top

first i would like to say i have searched the forum...
now on to the problem. i currently have a vert with a top that is tearing and is ready to go. I ran into a vert in a junk yard that looks like it has a brand new top on it. the question is the top skin removable on its own or since it is installed do i have to take the whole convertible structure?

I would strongly encourage you to purchase the entire structure. It's just a bunch of 10mm and a few larger nuts to remove and install, so can be done with standard tools. To install from scratch would require a more sophisticated skill set.

MUUUUUUUUUUCH EASIER TO BOLT IN!!! Take it from me! DO NOT try to just replace the skin. Unless it's brand new, ish ain't going back on right, period. It just wont. Make sure you have a 2nd pair of hands to help too!
