first things first, there are 2 bolts on either side of the dash behind the triangle peices, then there are 2 bolts on either side of the tranny tunnel underneath the smaller triangle peices, then there is a small 8 mm bolt in the center of the dash, in the middle of the defog vents, unbolt the steering column, (4 bolts underneath) disconnect the speedo cable at the back of the cluster, remove the screws and disconnect the two cluster connectors, remove the defog vent pannel,, whole thing that has the vin attached to it, disconnect the connector for the air controls, theres a few connectors underneath the steering column, remove the shift ****, pull the ebrake up and pull the dash out. i think thats it, if you hit any snags, let me know.

Man keep this write up going. I'll be removing the dash this summer to replace the carpet, and i suppose the heater core as well. Oh and the windshield. But hey at least the motor is done.

Red face Update

Alright I removed the Dash Assy (Pain in the *** disconnecting many wring harnesses) took pictures so i won't forget where to put back, I did a breakdown on the Heater cor and Son-of-abitch i found no trace of Collant Leak.. I flushed a hose in the heater cor for 5 minutes and no leak, but maybe theres a chance the LEAK might have came out of the 2 Heater core hoses since it had alot of wear n tear for 12 years but i found little trace of mousture from the "Buffer" (that funny carpet **** surrounding the heater core" and dry sports around the hoses. i have doughts that it never leaked.. i don't care i bought an OEM heater Core and some Aftermarket Hoses with good clamps, im not gonna take anymoe chances and just replace the whole damn thing.
