need help with a question!!!

i have 1 89 fc and im getting a new exhaust but right now there is about 3 feet of piping from the header is it ok to drive in the mean time till i get my exhaust ? its also about in f 40-30 degress outside

for the sake of your neighbors, wait until you get the exhaust put in. if absolutely necessary, you can drive it with an open header.
