Need Help Pricing 1987 Turbo
I have a 1987 turbo with 25,000 (actual, not just engine) miles I would like to sell before the upcoming winter storage season. Except for some recent electrical problems (fan, wipers) car is as close to perfect as can be found.
Can anyone give me some advice on the value of this car, and the best way to market it. Is eBay a good place to list this type of car?
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's going to be tricky getting the best value for the car - you're looking at a REAL limited market. The car is too old for a car loan, and the majority of people looking at 2nd gens are cash strapped and typically can't get large personal loans.
Anyhow, I would say ballpark value would be $6-8000, for a fair value that you could reasonably expect to get.
Ebay would probably be the best place to sell it, but you might have to list it a few times to find the right person. Don't rule out local sales - might try an ad in the Autotrader or the like.
I wish I had the money for it!

yeah I agree with almost everything there that Dale says, except I think its worth about $6000.
If you could get it to CA or the East, you'd get a better market for it., so you might call some car shipping companies and get prices so you could offer to ship it for a reasonable fee.
