Exclamation In need of help please. all advice welcome! :)

Hello guys,

I have a 1987 Rx7 that I had put away for the winter, I brought it out just recently and it fired up fine. The Idle was great at first it hummed along like a kitten. I drove it around the block, and when you take your foot off of the gas to make a turn and use the brake, the RPMS drop to zero and it shuts down.

Im not sure what it could possible be, but every morning when its been sitting all night I start it up, it runs fine, drive around the block it works fine, and than not to long after that, you take your foot off of the gas and it will shut down. I have no idea what it could be, please any advice is welcome thank you guys

Could you please provide a more detailed description of the symptoms? Can you determine between air, fuel, and spark, which you're losing that's causing it to shut down?

I would love to tell you more about it , but thats just it I have no idea whats causing the problem.

I can drive the car in the mornings when its been sitting all night, but after i've driven it for a few minutes and say I put it back in the driveway and start it again it will stall out. I will start it up , then the RPMs will go to zero and struggle to come back and then shut down to zero and shut the car down. I have no idea why its doing it. but every morning after its been sitting it works again for another few minutes, so im not sure why this problem could be.

i'd check all vaccums first, if not that then maybe injector problems. still, description of driving conditions while the car is running are vague.

The driving conditions when it is actually moving are fine, everything seems normal nothing out of the ordinary, its only when you remove your foot from the constant gas that the rpms drop. but as your driving everything seems very nice and smooth.

hi guys, so a little bit of an update... I searched the forums for anything related to my problem. I found that it could possibly be one of the following list of things :

TPS
Injectors
temp sensor
fuel pump/ filter
coolant sensor
BAC sensor
AFM
LIM Gasket

Today I went out and I warmed the car up, and than I played around with the TPS screw and it seems to idle a little better than it did before. Although I found a new problem while I was at it. The exhaust makes a popping noise as its leaving the tail pipe which I assume means unburned gas igniting in the exhaust? so what would be the cause of that? thanks for the help guys
