when I let my 87 FC idle it putts, and it has no acceleration whatsoever, I haven't been running it hard or anything and it just randomly started doing it for no apparent reason, any ideas on what it is and how to fix it?

You might have clogged catalytic converters, if your car still ahs the stock exhaust, this is very likely. Start your car, pop the hood and listen for a Hissing sound. If you hear hissing, you probably have a vacuum leak. Isolate the hissing, and put the vacuum hose back on its barb/replace the hose if it is broke.
