Need Help Please!

My coolant light came on today and i know i just recently checked it. I filled the coolant all the way up to get me home and found out the upper hose was leaking. The hole was near the hose clamp so i cut it off refitted the hose and now no leaks. BUT... my coolant light still goes on and off intermittently . is this air in the sytem? or could it be something else? Also after refitting the hose and starting it up I now have no oil pressure. Could these problems be caused by the sensors getting wet from the coolant? or could i have bumped something in the engine bay? I was planning on getting an aftermarket oil gauge after hearing about the notorious oem one but not this soon. By the way temp never went above half way and oil level is fine with no bubbles or coolant in it. Someone please shed some light on this I really aprreciate any help or knowledge you have to offer. Thanks.
Sean

I had this same problem. Very annoying, especially when your radio is broke at the same time and you have to make a 1.5 hour drive. I was ready to drive off a cliff. Not sure what the real problem was though. I just put up with it until I had a motor swap that I was getting done. I figure it fixed itself when the coolant was drained and refilled. So yeah, probably got air in there. Not sure what to tell you. Just thought I'd sympathize with you a little.
