Need help picking exhausts

so today, i finally looked under my car in over a year , and my exhaust is rusted and some minor holes , so im deciding on replacing it . but im looking for a true dual exhaust for my car , yes i know its a n,a and it wouldnt be worth it but im planning on keeping my car for awhile , so does anybody know of any places that would sell kits for my 87 ? maybe for under 1500

whoohooo!! You won't keep your car for long with true duals!! Talk about loud, you'll have to wear ear protection to drive it!

Racing beat makes good exhaust. It all depends on what you like.

The older Racing Beat road race exhaust is the only true dual I know of. Any reason you want true dual so badly? No shame in having a y-pipe .

i like true dual exhausts because 1) it probably makes it sound better than it does right now lol , 2 ) maybe increased power ? 3) unno i just want it sorry, the reason i like it is because it has two exhaust tips so i want dual exhausts ( yes i know its a noob awnser )

edit: ment to say is its kind of stupid why it has the y pipe , i think it should of came with duals from the factory

rb is about it. unless you want to go with lesser known manufactures and their custom headers alone are around $800. the RB is tripple muffled and not that loud. if you want performance you got to go single.

once you start removing the restrictions in the exhaust your low end torque disappears. then if you wire your 5/6pi open for the high end you can stall your car off the line trying to drive normal.

i've driven a few different exhaust setups and the one I found to have the most gain was a ebay pacesetter header (thermal wrapped) to a T2 motoria midpipe to their 3" catback single. the silencer was jbwelded in as far as it would go. street ported gxl with all the emissions and a/c removed, 5/6pi wired open. that car was the fastest n/a i've ever seen in real life.

You won't want true duals it will be the loudest car in Hamilton I can promise you that you'll get yanked all the time

I had just a header and a pair of mufflers and it was just stupid loud you wont be able to have a conversation on the highway

There wont be a piston motor'd car that'll come close to it
