I have not been on here much, but I have been working on a 91 rx7 turbo build from a blown motor for the last 10 months. Anyway tonight was the night I thought it was all going to run, but sadly no.

First off: The starter solenoid stud is stripped and it wont ground correctly. So my question is will only a turbo starter fit and work or can I use one from a non turbo?

Second: This is a super dumb question but I cant figure this out. My buddy and I did the block off plates on the motor. So the air control valve is not there. What line do I hook up to the fuel pressure sensor thats attached to the firewall? I feel like a moron but for the life of me I cant figure out what vaccum line goes to there with the block off plates installed.

PS This is my first RX7 and I appriciate all the help I can get lol.

No, turbo and non-turbo starters are different. I think auto starters and turbo starters are interchangeable, but I'm not sure. If someone can verify that, I think I have an auto starter that works that I can let go for cheap. PM me if you find out they will work and you are interested

 

What about the fuel pressure sensor on the firewall? What do I hook it up to since I installed the block off plates for the air control valve?
