need help! motor not goin in..

need help! motor not goin in..

hi, for 2 damn days now, ive been trying to match up the motor mounts to the chassis. the pasenger side is in, the tranny is bolted on to the motor, but the driver side mount, wont match with the bottom hole. it needs to be pushed back about another cm but i cant get it to budge, i was wondering if im doin it wrong, or what? please i need help, i got to return the lift at 2 today.

Try loosening the top nut on the motor mount in order to get some sway in it. I did that and it seated itself in.

Try loosening your transmission mounts and try to push it back.

yepee its on! i jus unloosened the bolts to the mounts and it worked. ive tried everything i could think of except for those 2 things, i even started to kick the **** out of my engine, it still wouldnt cooperate. but thanx guys. this is my first time pulling a motor out and puting a new one in, and im doin it by myself primarily. its still fun though. oh well thanx again
