NEED HELP: Mazda Rx7 FC speaker connector MALE code

Hi
I bought this "METRA ADAPTOR"
https://www.carid.com/metra/speaker-...n-72-7901.html

Code 72-7901 for connect my aftermaket speakers!

This adaptor obviously is a FEMALE connector.

Problem is that on the driver's door the original "male" oem connector is still there, but on the passenger door a fuc**ing idiot cut the male oem connector.

I need to restore the "male" speaker oem connector? But what is the code for a spare connector?

On aliexpress i find only male + female speaker connectors for modern Mazdas (RX8, CX5....).

I need the code for the male connector for the speakers for the 80's RX7s.

Thank you!

I mean how intense of a restoration are you doing? Because you could easily just cut that end off and go get a generic single wire connector, probably doesn’t even have to be weather proof

Metra needs to get their gender's straight! The photo you display is a male connector.

Unless, they're referring to the end that connects to the speaker. That's would be a female because speakers always have a male terminals on them.

Male or female......i need the "other side" of the connector!

I'm doing a "pristine" restoration! My car is absolutely perfect apart these little details! I want it in a full factory status! Can someone help me identifing the speaker cable connector code? A spare connector that i can buy somewhere.

On Aliexpress you can find these speaker connectors but only for "modern" Mazdas...from RX8 to present! Rx8 connector is not compatible.

Thank you!

Maybe contact Metra and ask for the mating connector? You might want to search their online catalog.
