Need help locating tach wire in engine bay?

The car is untuned yet. I have an egt gauge. I know which coil is trailing and leading as well as looking at the rotors. I am some what of a quick learner. the car is running very rich right now and I am staying out of boost,I might have hit 1-3lbs but nothing major. I am going to go buy 2 new coils after I check for spark. I am getting somewhat flustered with this set up. I am noticing white smoke off of a fresh rebuild. My buddy is hitting towards bad seals. I might have to tear the motor back down, again. I am about to call it a day and sell the car.

I don't see a fan shroud either.

The car seems like it just needs a few changes to be right. I would suggest getting a standalone ( you can do a megasquirt for about $400) get a stock CAS (rather than the distributor), leading and trailing coils from a 2nd gen, 720 primary injectors and 1600cc secondary injectors. Oh yeah and either a fan shroud or an E-fan setup. definately get a wide band O2 as well.

What kind of fuel pump and regulator do you have.

I have a sump in the sthe stock tank with a Weldon racing pump with an braided lines to the aeromotive regulator. How much can I get for my microtech mt4? Hopefully, if my coils are bad my stupid tach will work!
