need help with igniters and coils. *PICS* . WON'T SPARK
I have an S4 TII and I was wondering if anyone knows which wires are most important for the grounding ( positive and negative) it and getting it to spark. I have some missing wires, but I don't know where they go and if they're necessary for it to work. because I took the wires out and tested them for spark, but they weren't sparking.
It's because I just installed my rebuilt engine and can't get it to start due to this. I have some pics to show you what i'm missing, but if anyone can provide some pics to show what the wire connections are supposed to look like, it would be MUCH appreciated.
and, there's also one other wire, which i've been persuaded to believe has something to do with oil pressure, but I also can't find where it goes.

in the interior? hmm i'll be sure to check them out. thank you. although, it was starting fine before I pulled the engine out. and I left the igniters and coils in. could they have blown just as I installed it? because they were in fact sparking fine.

The one wire connection that your holding, appears to be the knock sensor,it goes to the center housing, right in front off the oil fill neck.you should make sure that it gets back there.the coil near the battey is connected properly,no pics of the other coil,it has a two wire hookup, and a small square four pin connector.did you connect the ground from main eng harness to rear rotor housing? it mounts under the intercooler mounting bracket. But check the fuses that is always the first place to start, like hailers posted

Do you know the one pin connector, what exactly it connects to? because I don't see any open holes on the center housing. would there be anything blocking it that I can't see?
yes, I did connect the ground from the harness to the rear housing, and i'm also putting pics of the other coil. i checked the fuses but they don't seem to be blown. mainly the engine one and the egi fuses.
the first 2 or 3 pictures are directly under the other coil, as you can see the red spark plug wires coming from it. thought those connections might be important

sorry, the pic is kind of unclear, but all of those are connected. i pulled it out and put it back in to make sure. so do you know of any other wires that might be the problem?
oh, and what is that small black wire hanging out in front of the first coil? because in the second coil there is an identical wire to that but it's casing is white instead of black. you can see the white one is the third pic of the 2nd post and the black one in the first pic of the first post.
I put a copper wire and stuck it into that small black one and connected it metal the body, thinking it might be a ground, but it was sparking at that connection, so I left it. is it a positive wire?

it's okay. I e-mailed aaron and sent him the link. maybe he can help....if not then I think i'm screwed.unless someone else knows i guess. I have to sell this if it doesn't start this time. this is my 2nd time replacing the engine. first time someone sold me a rip-off engine for 700 bucks that had a coolant leak. and this one i rebuilt myself.
