Need help with idle

I have a 90 GXL, when I picked it up on Wednsday it idled under 1000 rpms. I had the trans fluid flushed, pwr steering fluid flush, brakeline flush, rear diff. fluid flush, and oil changed it now idles at 1700 rpms. Is this normal or is there somthing that needs to be fixed. Thanks for any help.

I have an 87. When it starts cold it idles at about 2500 to 3000 but after it warms up it dropes to about 800. It's normal.

yes ..750 is the norm..but the idle screw had to be messed with by the mechanic ..no way that a fluid flush would double the idle....i could see high idle when cold though..try in gear with clutch pushed in..turn key..any better?
