Need help identifying this part
Ok so I'm in the middle of a tear down on my 90 model vert and when I get to the ECU I notice this weird little pig tail coming off if it. It's been completely wrapped in heat shrink (very well I might add) and its just piggy backed onto the wiring harness. The main capacitor has been knocked off the little board, but hasn't seemed to effect the cars running ability. Can anyone help me out with this one or at least point me in a direction

Yes, it looks like one of those bullshit 50 extra hp modifications that essentially tell the computer the intake temp is lower so it supplies even more fuel to our rich pig. running NA FC's. (sorry for the run-on sentence).
If you don't have the FSM (and really want to know for sure), see links in my sig. and in the wiring section locate the ECU pin-outs and see where that is going in.

Thanks for the quick responses! The black wire was a ground but I screwed that up scrapping out the factory sound deading material. I'll check to see what pins it connected to when I get back to town. I thought it might have been some kind of homemade fix for the flooding problem, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the help
