Question Need help identifying part

Have a part question regarding my NA to TII conversion.
In my 87 GXL there is a Denso rectangular metal box on the passenger side between the strut tower and headlight. It has a oval shape plug that goes to the NA harness.
On my 88 TII this part does not exist nor is there a plug for this component on the turbo harness. If anyone can identify this mystery part and what it does I would appreciate it greatly.

Derek

How big? What does it look like?

Are you talking about the AFM (Air Flow Meter)

Definitly not the AFM or fuel pump resistor. Resistor pack on the other hand... If I'm going from an 87 NA motor w/ low impedence injectors to an 88 TII w/ high impedence injectors the resistor pack is just another item I can go ahead remove from the engine bay right?

It IS the resistor block. I replaced the harness on my car and you can't get a new 88 engine harness any more, so I got a 87 which not only had the oval connector-- but different connectors for the injectors.

Finding a resistor pack is easy, make sure your injectors connect
