I was gonig to install my rtek ecu today and couldn't find the fuel cut defender. I know it has one because the last owner told me it did. I thought I remember him saying it was in the engine bay but I also found something that someone added to the ecu right next to it.

In the first picture I was thinking that it was the thing next to the ecu with the pink wires going to it.

In the second picture I thought it might be the black box on the left.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

2nd pic, black box on the left is your FCD. I have NO idea what that thing to the left of your ECU is....

 

I want to cut out the thing by the ecu because it isn't factory but i have no clue what it is.

 

The thing next to your ECU looks like a pair of resistors. You probably have aftermarket low impedenace secondary injectors, and the previous owner wired those in. Don't cut it out.

If it connects to two of the light green wires on the small plug of the ECU, it's for the injectors.

 

your right those are for the 720cc secondaries
