Need Help FAST With Turbo/Fuel Questions...

Ok, here's the problem, I was going to just go ahead and port my wastegate and put my exhaust on, but when the turbo was removed, it looks pretty fucked up beyond repair, even though it seemed to boost decently. Anyways, now i'm looking at getting a new turbo, which means new fuel adjustments.

From what i've heard, I could go with a BNR Stage II for my 89' TII and use the stock top mount intercooler up to about 300rwhp. I don't have the money for the intercooler right away, but it would be my first buy once the money comes in. I've also heard I don't want to go above the Stage II just tuning it with a S-AFC which I have.

So basically, my questions are, with a BNR Stage II, what size injectors will I need, and will I have to buy anything besides the actual BNR turbo and the injectors to get started with this if I already have a S-AFC, and Walbro already?

Lastly, from what I understand the hybrid mounts to all the stock manifolds and whatnot, but does that mean using some of my old possibly broken parts of my turbo, or do they give you a whole new turbo and housings to bolt in?

Actually, one more thing, any good suggestions for brands of injectors that are good for the price?

So in a nutshell, what do I need to get started with this, what size injectors, what are some good injector brands, and will I be using any old turbo parts for this? To add one more thing, whats a safe boost to reach with a stage II before going to a front mount?

Thanks for the help, I need to decide pretty quick because my mom is going to lend me the money since she doesn't want me without a car right before school starts up.

>> While the you might be able to push 300rwhp through the stock top mount, it's not the best idea. I would advise low (10-11) pounds of boost until you get the front mount.

>> I would advise 4 x 720cc injectors. You will need some way of tuning the car. Whether you plan on doing it youself, or taking it to a local tuner is up to you.

>> You send in the turbo core. If any parts on the turbo that are being re-used is worn/broken it will be replaced in shop. If you're manifold and oil/coolant lines are in good condition then you are in business.

Actually, one more thing, any good suggestions for brands of injectors that are good for the price?

>>Greddy injectors are actually re-labeled nippo injectors I believe. These are probably the two most popular injectors you will run into.

Ok that cleared some stuff up for me. Running at around 10/11psi on a stage II, what kind of HP output would I see, rough estimate?

Another thing I noticed was the 360 thrust package for $60, what the hell is it and is it worth it?

What kind of turnaround do you think they have for sending in the old turbo and getting the new one back?

360 bearings are *from what I understand* better higher boost. However, they either leak a bit more at lower boost or they don't spool quite as fast - I forget which. A simple google will probably tell you more than you care to know.

I *think* its worth it. Call BNR and ask! He's very helpful. My turbo was rebuilt by him. I'm gonna get an upgrade in the near future, dunno if I'll upgrade the stock one or get a full aftermarket setup yet, tho. I want to be ~350-400 rwhp when I'm done with the car.

BNR's turnaround for me was < 1 week. A hybrid may take some more time I'm not sure. Again, ask him. Same with the 10/11 psi on his Stage II. Everybody's stage II is different, so he should be able to tell you what you'll be looking at for that turbo setup.
