Personally, I'd make a shield for your air intake so you have a cold air intake instead of an engine bay air intake first.

somehting you couls do and looks nice is get a platethat goes above the rad, and covers the overflow bottle and whatnot. Also a good reliability thing you could do would be to swap out all vacuum lines for some silicone lines, they usually come in colors, so that would look nice and function well

lots of options, depends on your needs:
emissions removal
AC removal
front mount
remove that snorkel from your fan shroud
lots of stuff, use your imagination, dont do anything you'll regret like yellow vac lines or something

ok first to each his own....if he want sto rice it out so be it.....hahhaha
But here is a good starting point as far as I'm concerned.
The mechaical fan is fine for all uses but it takes up a lot of room.....Changing to an electrical fan not only gives you more control over your cars running temperature since you can switch it on and off but it also elimiates alot of clutter under the hood. When you pop the hood on a stock FC you see a big shroud with a long shank and a fan and clutch on the end of it.
Or you can swap to electrical fan and have a fan that sits on the radiator and only pops back about 3-4 inches at the motor.
Makes for a cleaner look.
Then of course there is always the removal of the rats nest or emmisions and vacuum lines. Who needs those, it's just a bunch of atmosphere friendly crap that clutters up and holds heat under the hood.
What ever you choose to do keep reliability in mind first then go for your "bling" ........that 's my opinion on it all.

Ditto. A bit of colout can definitely improve an engine bay, but cloured wires and hoses always look like **** because there are always a lot of them. It just becomes a big fugly mess.

Get a FMI. And...you could powder coat the manifolds. And fabricate a cold air intake and a surround and get that big black cold air route gone.

Take off ps, ac, air pump, emissions. A simple looking bay is a sexy bay.

Paint whatever parts you can remove with the dupli color paint or the chrome 500 degree paint, you don't need to powder coat things, that money can be used elsewhere.

Get a cold air box, and get a battery box to hide the battery.

Wax the paint in the engine bay and clean up all the plastic with some armor all or something.

That will make your bay look simple, nice and clean. And if you buy that neon autozone/pepboys silicone hose its most likely a crappy hose and will give you problems.

Wow, that is one nice ignition setup man!

What are all those wires next to the drivers flip up light? More IGN stuff?

Very clean and you even still have ABS. That rocks
