Need help with cusco cc plate install

Hey guys. I picked up a set of cusco camber plates yesterday, and am wondering how to go about mounting them on the strut/spring assembly. Any help appreciated.

If memory serves me(It's been awhile since I've seen them on an FC), they attach to the top of the strut tower, then the struts slide in from underneath.

Problem is, I've got the stock top spring perch. Doesn't seem like it's supposed to fit that way.
