ok so i have swapped a 13bre in my 88 GXL.. i have the haltech e6k and all my fuel lines hooked up.. but my fpr gauge doesnt read anything.. i have a sard fpr with a brand new jegs gauge.. im using a walbro 255 fuel pump.. 720cc prim 1680cc sec inj... im getting alittle bit of white smoke out the exhaust so im guessing there is gas pumping in.. i pulled the fuel line off and it sprayed gas everywhere.. the car crank but wont start.. was wondering if anyone knew if i hooked the fpr right.. i have the fuel system running like the stock setup.. i de-flooded the system so it cant be that either.. can anyone help me out... here is a pics of the way i setup the fpr..

 

fuel lines are probably backwards

 

I can't tell for sure how your lines are hooked up but they could be backwards. Feed should be coming in the side and the return should be going out the bottom.

Keep in mind that this regulator is only rated to a certain amount of HP. I have it on my car and I'm having issues getting past 300hp (the dyno chart plateaus around 300 and stays there instead of spiking and dropping off, and my fp is dropping from 40 at idle to 25 under boost), so I'm going to swap it out for an Aeromotive. Hopefully that fixes it.
