Need help with brakes

my brake peddle goes straight to the floor so I bleed the brakes to start with. this didn't help one bit. i changed the master cylinder "used the one off my parts car, it was new and only had about 200 miles on it". this didn't help either. i've bleed them again since then. and i took the original cylinder apart and the seals in it were perfect, the bore was smooth with no scoring. i've checked and have no leaks from the lines, hoses, cylinder, or calipers.

When did this happen? Is the rest of the brake system hooked up? How are you bleeding it?

Everything is hooked up the brakes were like this when i bought the car last fall. idk how its even possible that its not building pressure.

The first time i bleed them i used a one man bleeder til the fluid was clear.
I blench bleed the cylinder before i put it in.
After the cylinder i had a friend help bleed them the right way

My other 7 popped its master cylinder i changed it and had no problem til the motor blew.

Try turning the vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster around. It has a check valve in the middle of the hose and putting it on backwards will cause problems.

you have a Leak in the Brake system.somewhere.Put the Car UP on stands and check.
BTW.If you have the Booster hose Backwards.,you will get OK pressure, but Try and stop with it..NOPE..it will be like pressing on a BRICK!..and the brakes will not feel like they want to grab.

there are no leaks anywhere i've looked and fallowed all of the lines up to the master cylinder. i had a friend pump the brake while i felt the hoses to see if they were stretching , they are not i can feel them go under pressure and release. but once again there ARE NO LEAKS. my reservoir level is not getting lower and no fluid on the floor.

Maybe the master cylinder off the part car was bad...hopefully the new one solves the problem! I had a problem after replacing my rotors, pads, and lines. The pedal grabbed, but barely. I bled it about 3 or 4 times before the pedal really felt like it should.

got my cylinder this morning "YAY" $45 oh well. . . . i had to wait for the rain to slow down to put it in.... but the good news is after bench bleeding it forever to make absolutely sure ALL air was out and then losing my 10mm wrench somewhere under my motor, its in and i have about 60% peddle. i'm waiting for my friend to show up so i can bleed this thing AGAIN,

That's pretty low! I'm currently at 73k miles (original). I bought the car about 6 years ago with 45k miles.

i've owned this one for a little less then a year. I've only put 26 miles on it since i bought it. i kinda want to keep the miles low, but then again MAZDA didn't build it so it could sit around, you know??
I've also got another 86 rx-7 "thats the one in my avatar" that died last year. i only put 9000 miles on it in 5 years. She quit at 159xxx miles. my parts car was beat hard its whole life and dropped a rotor and fried it's computer at 167xxx miles so i think my low miles baby has some car shows left in her.

the metal on the pads had some surface rust so we used a wire wheel to clean it off. the stock shims were being used with another set, the stock ones were completely rusted to the pistons and pads. we also used a 2-4 in the caliper while i pushed in the peddle to free the stuck pistons. the outside 2 on each side were stuck bad. but they did free up. we pushed them back with a C clamp. the pads were still very good so we used them.
