So I'm swapping my AT with a MT and while working on switching my pedals I broke the little white plastic pin of the brake light switch. Mine has two connectors (first picture) but the pedals of the MT only has one (second picture). My question is: can I simply grab the switch from the MT and forget about the other plug? Thanks in advance AT switch MT switch
Edit: it's a 1988 gxl fyi

Reason: Additional informations on the car
the GXL has that double switch for either Cruise Control and or the AAS system. the AAS for sure has a brake input, so it won't work with the single switch.
