need help bought a motor need some questions answered

ok so i bought a motor last weekend was told it was street ported just about as big as you can go without bridging it came with turbo manifold wastegate big *** injectors setrab oil cooler and a full rebuild kit but i got everything home and noticed a nick in the side of one of the rotors and ive never built a rotary or even seen one taken apart so my concerns are will the knick affect the motor and is it actually street ported there is no scoring on the housing or anything...

Looks ported to me but I'm not the best person to answer this question. I do however have the capacity to use google and found this picture.

Here is the thread the pic came from https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/opinion-my-engines-porting-plus-fc-fd-port-size-comparison-pix-908708/

That chip in the rotor will be fine. Just file it smooth and your good to go

Yep just file that ding down and the rotor should be good. Also the port job looks to be done properly. I was expecting to see a ghetto job but it looks good.

Good luck with the build.

Those primaries look really close to the oil seal track. If they cross, the engine might burn some extra oil. Looks good otherwise.
