OK here goes, I need some serious help. I have an 88 GTU and know that the auxilliary ports ain't workin, and that sucks=NO TOP END POWER. I took off the air pump the other day to get to the front actuator and it doesn't budge at all, the one on the rear is fine though. Also, on the air control valve the port air solenoid valve has no wire coming out of it, it has been burned completely off somehow. I really need to get this **** working so I need some suggestions because i'm planning on a bonez super flo and an apex n1 dual exhaust and I know that will not make enough back pressure to work, I've thought about taking the sleeves completely out, but I don't know. I want something where the ports work but unlike taking the sleeves out I still need my gas mileage, gas is high you know. Maybe the ball valve thing with the cover plate on the acv or the acv dump over 3800 rpm thing. First I need to get the ***** to move first so what can you guys do to help me, PLEASE!
One more ?, how will a header work on my car, I've heard that they don't work well on fuel injected rotaries?

 

remove your intake system down to the block, its easy.

Clean everything.
force nothing.

search on my posts, using my name and get the procedure for cleaning them and making them work right.

Stop thinking about altering the car until you get it working as it was designed.

Then you'll make decisions based on real, stable performace.

All to often this happens and people get "birthday fever" and go nuts altering things and never finish chasing all the gremlins out of thier cars, or just "live with" a new annoying issue.
