AZ Need Help

i have a white 87 se.its been sitting for months and were planning to move it somewhere.it was overheated a while back and someone told me it had a blown apex seal.it used to turn on but you had to keep giving it gas.now my question is with all these problems, why isnt it turning on? it cranks and cranks but nothing! it has gas and spark but still nothing. is it the fact that the engine is blown? thanks for the help!

Check compression and possibly deflood. With one blown rotor you might have to bump start it because the starter can't generate the cranking speed needed.

he's right. one fully running rotor doesn't have the power to keep the motor going w/ the starter.

Also, when a rotary overheats, the housing may expand or warp. It depends on how much it overheated. If it warped at all, the seals may not even be touching the housings, losing all compression.

but like Turbo II said, check compression first.
