in need of help

Im a beginner wanting to get a v8 FC
Im on a limited budget and im mechanically stupid but i want to learn.....
Ive loved the Rx-7 body style since I first learned about it while talking to my grandpa about engineering and unusual cars in history. He then told me about the Wankel rotary engine and the history of how one person created an engine and a car that competed with the big car brands and did quite well.

Ive learned through sites like this one about v8's and the FC and the FD.
Basically I'm asking where would I learn more about the rx7 and how to do the v8 engine swap................How would I find a cheap (500-600 dollars) project car.....doesn't really have to run i have a POS ford escort that I beat the crap out of and is my daily driver.

I'm a beginner at this but i do know enough about the history of the Mazda but i want to actually start on building one.............Im 18 working to pay off my laptop that I just bought so I have no money as of now but im going to try and work up to 2500 for one.

Not really sure what you're asking but if you want to know more about engine swaps, look here.

Cool

BLASPHEMY!!!! Keep the Wankel, learn the Wankel, LOVE the Wankel.

Seriously though... get a Honda Del Sol (lol) if ya wanna do a v8 or well anything.

So far working on this lil 'ol rotary has been so much more fun than working on my 350 (thats now sitting half done in the Monte Carlo... mainly because i ran out of money lol)
