The simple answer is get more air in and more exhaust out. Go with a cone air filter to replace your existing air filter box. And you might want to consider buying or fabricating a cold air intake box. (Search the forum for ideas about that.) If you don't need to worry about emissions testing, go for a different exhaust like the Racing Beat down pipe and pre-silencer to replace the cat. And a "Y" pipe and cat back exhaust from RB as well. Those two things will buy you the best bang for the buck and a noticable increase in power for your NA. Now if you want additional "power", there are probably some additional things that will buy you a small increase beyond that.

If handling is important to you, replace the shocks and springs with aftermarket items. Add strut tower bars front and rear, and heftier anti-sway bars at both ends (some actually advise removing the rear sway bar). Check RacingBeat.com and other vendors for ideas, and again, do some searching and reading on this forum.

Then you can start removing items for weight savings if you really get obsessive.

Do you have emissions where you are at?

If not, start with a free flowing exhaust. Headers, cat-removal stuff, and a nice cat-back system.

Make sure your aux. are working.

S5 intake manifold.

exhaust will make the biggest difference.

You need to realize though that a freer flowing exhaust system will also increase the noise considerably. With an N/A about the only thing that will get you more power is exactly what has already been suggested. After the cone filter intake and freer flowing exhaust, things will become very much more $expensive$ for marginally smaller power gains.
