need help
i'm new to rotaries and i need help with a little issue i have. i changed the thermostat in my 88 gxl and waited about 3 hours for the sealant to dry just two days ago. after letting it sit, i start the car to make sure it sealed well and that the thermo was working correctly. i crank it up like normal and it takes about 5 seconds longer to start and when it fires, it sounds like its missing and smells really rich. so rich it smells like straight gas. is there something electrical that could've been fried by the coolant coming out the thermo housing?
i tried starting it today, and the same thing happened
